Agaete, Spain

Located on the northwest coast of Gran Canaria, Agaete is a charming town renowned for its stunning natural landscapes, including the verdant Agaete Valley and the dramatic coastal cliffs. Visitors can explore the historic old town, with its whitewashed buildings and beautiful church, or relax in the natural pools of Las Salinas. The area offers excellent hiking trails, particularly in the Tamadaba Natural Park. The best time to visit is during the spring and autumn months (March to May and September to November), when the weather is warm and pleasant, and the tourist crowds are smaller. Summer (June to August) can be hot and busy, while winter (December to February) is cooler but still mild.
