Bagan, located in the Mandalay Region of Myanmar, is an ancient city that was once the capital of the Pagan Kingdom. It's famous for its thousands of Buddhist temples, pagodas, and stupas that date back to the 11th and 12th centuries. The best time to visit Bagan is during the cooler months from November to February when temperatures range from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F) and the weather is dry. The hot season from March to May can see temperatures soaring above 40°C (104°F), while the monsoon season from June to October brings heavy rain, making travel and sightseeing less enjoyable.
