Ha Long, Vietnam

Ha Long, located in northeast Vietnam, is a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for Ha Long Bay. The bay features thousands of limestone monolithic islands dotted with caves, grottoes, and rock formations. Ha Long is particularly known for its boat tours and cruises which offer spectacular views of the islands and marine life. The weather is most pleasant from October to April when the humidity is lower. The summer months of May through September are hotter and see more rain, making it less popular among tourists during this time. Activities such as kayaking, cave exploration, and hiking are widely popular here. For digital nomads, however, the city is favored during the cooler months as it presents a scenic and serene work environment.
