Perugia works best for digital nomads seeking authentic Italian culture without Venice or Florence's overwhelming crowds—it's genuine and still feels like a living city rather than an open-air museum. The best time to visit is April–May (spring) and September–October (autumn), when temperatures are mild (15–22°C), crowds are manageable, and the landscape is at its most beautiful.
