Taghazout has long been a well-kept secret for surfers, drawing wave hunters from around the globe for its world-class surf breaks, the most famous of which is Anchor Point. The village is surrounded by stunning coastline and mountains, making it a draw for outdoor enthusiasts as well. Outside of the surf culture, Taghazout offers a quiet and authentic Moroccan experience with berber traditions. Summers (June to August) can be quite hot, making it less ideal for sightseeing but perfect for beach activities, whereas the shoulder seasons (March to May and September to November) are milder and more comfortable for a wider range of activities.
